Welcome to Sharpwood, a remote city somewhere in the north. This is a harsh and cold place, whose inhabitants know all their neighbors by name and are faithfully loyal to traditions, even the most barbarous. Smugglers, criminal gangs and guttural populists feel at home here. Despair and cruelty creep away like a swelling. The awkwardly difficult work awaits the new sheriff, Lilly Reed (voiced by Sarah Hamilton, known for the adventure saga of The Longest Journey). She is obligated to maintain peace and order, despite the fact that her subordinates are uncouth muzhlans who are not accustomed to receiving orders from a young woman. But things change when a mysterious stranger appears in Sharpwood, calling himself Warren Nash. And no one knows what he will bring with him: salvation or perdition. Poverty and hunger, multiplied by the growth of domestic crime and inaction of city authorities, pushed people into embrace of "forest spirits" and ancient religious cults. And the chronic problems with the supply of products put the city on its knees in front of local smugglers with a military past. Blame the innocent, negotiate with the criminals, torture those who do not want to cooperate in a good way - you can do everything to ensure that the cases are decided only in your interests.
Keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer. From now on your subordinates are not just some kind of faceless resource; they are living people with their strengths and weaknesses, their own fears and prejudices, and you will have to reckon with all this if you intend to go to the end. Other inhabitants of the city deserve no less attention: in Sharpwood everything is built on personal relationships, and you never know beforehand how friendship with a local butcher or business relationship with a morgue owner can save your life one day.
