In Resident Evil 4, Special Agent Leon S. Kennedy is tasked with rescuing the kidnapped daughter of the US President. His investigation leads him to a remote European village inhabited by aggressive fanatics of the mysterious Los Illuminados cult, the ones behind the kidnapping. Leon will face monstrous mutants and hostile villagers, their minds enslaved by the Las Plagas parasites. These enemies are quite different from the hulking zombies of previous games in the series.
