Description:
Even if the regime is completely incompetent and corrupt, don´t think for a minute that you will be welcomed with open arms as a liberator. JAGGED ALLIANCE 2: WILDFIRE brings you back to Arulco. The population is terrorized by a reckless army; at the same time, drugs are the main export commodity. Subversion and fraud have infiltrated every level of local government, and the ubiquitous mafia has its fingers in many pies. You are working undercover on behalf of the US government and your goal is to take down a powerful drug cartel. You´ll need a skilled hand to assemble the right team of mercenaries and the negotiation skills of a diplomat to sway a skeptical populace to your cause. You will also need the strategic genius of a general and the combat tactics of a guerrilla. If you fail, your "client" will deny all knowledge of your existence.
Gameplay
An exciting mix of strategy and RPG in which you will lead the nation´s fight for freedom. Your goals are to: recruit a core group of qualified professionals through A.I.M., the Association of International Mercenaries; win over the local population to their side, showing courage and loyalty; train your men around the clock, then send them on dangerous missions and deadly skirmishes, as well as conquer the depths of underground mines, reap their riches and reveal their secrets. Each success brings you closer to complete victory, and each failure must be overcome with iron determination. Sometimes a tactical retreat can be more beneficial than fighting for the sake of fighting. Retreat from one sector only to surprise the enemy with an attack from the other flank.
