About the Game: Dota started out as a custom Warcraft 3 mod and has grown into one of the most popular online games in the world. Following in the tradition of Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Team Fortress, Portal, and Alien Swarm, Dota 2 was born from Valve hiring community developers who had created a mod for the game and giving them the opportunity to work with Valve´s professional team of developers and artists to turn their ideas into a full-fledged game.
Describing the gameplay of this game is not the easiest task. The game camera provides the player with a view from a perspective familiar to real-time strategies, but it would be wrong to classify Dota as a game of this genre. And although each hero starts at level 1 and repeatedly reaches the threshold of 25, it would be equally wrong to classify the game as an RPG. Many people have tried to classify Dota into different genres, but in our opinion, the most capacious definition would be action strategy in real time.

What you need to start playing:

1. You need to download and install Steam http://steampowered.com/about (if not already installed)
2. Log in to the purchased account using your login and password (you will receive this data immediately after you pay for this product).
3. In the Steam window, find the LIBRARY tab at the top, click on it with the mouse - you will see the entire list of activated games on the account (in this case, the game Dota 2). Right-click on the name of the game -> install. After installing the game, you can start playing.
